Little Green Glass Bead Caddis
This little Caddis sits in the same pattern as the Brown Glass bead. This little fly is a gem. Either using under a Dry Fly Dropper or trailing under a beaded nymph. There is a little lead wrapping on this fly behind the glass bead for weight to break the surface film. Some natural fur blend to give it character, the holographic glass bead gives it a trapped water bubble effect behind the scuffy thorax. I find smaller softer structured waters or drop offs work best where the fish are lying in structured waters waiting for food to pass. Can be fished with a Dry Fly dropper or with a front weighted bead about 4 to 500 mm apart. A good fly to use when the rivers are low and the fish are picky. This is one of my go to flies and suits most river systems.
