A new Tear Drop Bead makes interesting fishing. Tied in the usual way but when the tear drop hits the water it inverts turning the fly uside down like a jig fly. Generally this fly drifts snag free. Can be fished as a dropper under a dry or used in a bigger version tying a smaller dropper fly. I usually fish in #16 and #18 as dropper fly as it looks like a dead spinner drifting in the current something the fish are attracted to.
